The Application Process
Start your application above by providing your name and email — quick and easy! In a few minutes you’ll receive an email from ctg-engineering@generationdata.org with a link to the Data Engineering Academy application form.
The Data Engineering Academy application form this is the core part of your application where we get to learn about your experience, background, skills and motivation or taking the course. This is the most important part of the application where we're able to get a good sense of who you are and if you'll be a good fit for this class. There’s no time limit on this portion of the application but we suggest taking 60-90 minutes.
Once you submit your Data Engineering Academy application form, you’ll be sent a brief, untimed technical assessment aimed to give us a better sense of your existing SQL skills, a foundational language for other skills and tools you'll learn in the Data Engineering Academy. We use the technical assessment as part of getting a holistic picture of your application.
That’s it. Once we have your Data Engineering Academy application form and Technical Assessment, we have all the information we need from you. From time of receipt of your application, it should take us approximately 2-3 weeks to make a determination though depending on various factors it make take shorter or longer.
